Michael C. Burns comes to us from St. Patrick Center, where he served the agency as the Manager of Housing/Compliance.

He holds an MA in Real Estate Management from Webster University, a BA in Speech Communications from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Michael grew up in The Ville, and is a lifelong City of St. Louis resident.  Michael has over 30 years of service in not-for-profit management in housing, healthcare, and education.  Michael has received the Open Door Award from the Metropolitan Housing and Opportunity Council and an Appreciation Award from St. Louis Job Corps, among other volunteer, board, and community awards from his years of community leadership and involvement.  He is currently on the Board of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Community Builders Network, and the Restorative Justice Movement Center.

Rezhe Connelly

Community Development Coordinator

Rezhe Connelly comes to us from Justine PETERSEN, where she served as a Credit Building Counselor and Loan Officer. While at Justine PETERSEN she coordinated a loan program with several national financial opportunity centers to assist low-to-moderate income Americans build credit. 

Rezhe is a recent graduate of Lindenwood University and holds a MA in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Saint Louis. As a graduate student, Rezhe provided consultation services to an organization which provided water well drilling and hand pumps to the people of Haiti to provide safe drinking water. 

In her free time Rezhe volunteers as a tax preparer and financial coach and is passionate about personal finance, public speaking, and community development.
