Rise Community Development
Rise is a nonprofit organization that connects key groups, working to revitalize communities and neighborhoods in Greater St. Louis. Rise acts as a resource and partner to the community, bringing together non-profit organizations, financial institutions and government to make successful neighborhood revitalization possible.
They work in partnership with community-based organizations like Northside to redevelop property, strengthen neighborhoods, and build communities in the St. Louis area. This is done through nonprofit organization capacity building, organizational and community assessment, real estate development, and research, as well as by connecting stakeholders such as not-for-profit community organizations, financial institutions, government entities and others.

The Ville Collaborative
The Ville Collaborative is a network of organizations, churches, businesses, schools, and residents that facilitates collaboration within the Ville & Greater Ville neighborhoods of North St. Louis City. Its mission is to create a common focus that promotes trust, builds neighborhoods relationships, and therein finds ways to make a collective impact in the Ville. The collaborative also connects neighborhood partners with organizations and volunteer resources outside the Ville.
As part of the Ville Collaborative, NCHI has participated in creating and maintaining community gardens and increasing access to fresh produce. NCHI provides administrative and fiscal support to several earned income opportunities for youth who participate in the youth employment programs in the Ville.
The Ville Collaborative meets on the evening of the second Wednesday of the month.
Community Builder's Network
Community Builders Network (CBN) is a professional association of nonprofit community building organizations (CBOs) and associate members comprised of lenders, philanthropy, nonprofits, and government actors, whose goal is to build vibrant neighborhoods where people want – and can afford – to live, creating a stronger and more competitive regional economy. These organizations help people make the connections to make their dreams possible, whether it’s an affordable home, a decent-paying job or a safe route to school. As a network, we believe in a St. Louis region where all people live in safe, economically strong and vibrant neighborhoods because of the active engagement of the residents who live there and the community building organizations that represent them.
